Blue Yonder came together during 2020 when singer/songwriter Lena Fjortoft and musician/producer DJ O'loane (Dale Jr., Otra Vez, Should've) began collaborating and creating songs together.

Their first creation was "Seeking Sophrosyne", which was featured on the Spirit Lust Compilation. After the success of "Seeking Sophrosyne", Lena and DJ created Blue Yonder and invited Dalton Patton (Bat Kid, Otra Vez, Should've) as their drummer.
